Garhi Fertiya Digrota / Akola / Agra – Young sportsperson Sonu Pailwar, a resident of Garhi Fertiya Digrota, has brought pride to his region with his remarkable achievements in traditional Indian wrestling. Trained at Baba Vyayam Sala Akhada Baad Kakua, Sonu credits his success to the dedicated guidance of his Guru Bhai Netrapal Chahar ji, who played a major role in shaping his journey.

Sonu secured Second Place at the National Level and earned a Gold Medal at the State Level, marking him as one of the promising talents in the wrestling field. He also received advanced training at the Gorakhpur Sports Hostel, which further strengthened his sporting foundation.

Currently, Sonu is serving the nation as a proud soldier in the Indian Army. Despite his busy schedule, he continues to pursue his dream of representing India in the Olympic Games. His long-term vision also includes training young children and preparing them for international-level competitions.

Speaking about his journey, Sonu expressed heartfelt gratitude to his family, whose support has been the backbone of his success.

He says, “My dream is to win for India at the Olympics and make my country proud.”
